Climbing Clouds, the first of three music videos we're producing for Jetty Rae, is finished! So you know what that means - ON TO EDITING THE NEXT ONE. We filmed most of Fallin', the next video to be released, on July 1 in the Township Hall in Cedar, Michigan with about 100 extras and dancers. We're really appreciative of everyone who gave their time and energy, and for them, Film Friday this week is just a way of saying thank you. It's also a way of teasing everyone and trying to show some cool footage without giving away the best stuff, the plot, or how righteous it's going to look.
Yes. That's it. 20 seconds. Editing for Fallin' begins today, and the finished product should be released sometime this month. It's been the film that, of the three, I've been the most excited about. I didn't foresee that during the planning process. Originally it was supposed to be the "easiest" of the three, but I don't think that ended up to be true, but when we're filming with a camera that can do up to 1000 frames a second it was hard not to have a good time.
In the photographs below are some of our extras and dancers, Jetty Rae herself, and my back as I give some really ambiguous direction.
The first film, Climbing Clouds, was released by Jetty Rae on Tuesday of this week on Youtube, and I'll be posting it on the blog and on Vimeo on Monday. So if you don't see it before then, it can be found here.
More on Monday!
